How does a Pet Wellness Plan Work?
We understand that our clients always want to put their pets' health above financial concerns. But as important as regular preventive care is for your pet's health, it can be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Wellness Plans 'bundle' all the preventive services that keep your pet healthy throughout the year into an easy monthly payment plan, helping you manage your budget and save money.
What is included in a Pet Wellness Plan?
Our Pet Wellness Plans for cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes in Powder Springs include the essentials for your pet to thrive.
Our Plans include annual and 6-month wellness exams, core vaccinations and heartworm testing. They will also include a fecal exam and a 12-month supply of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention medications.
Why Preventive Care is Important
Pet wellness exams are a complete health check for your dog or cat. These comprehensive exams allow our vets to detect and treat any emerging health issues and check on your pet’s diet to ensure they’re getting enough daily nutrients.
Pets can often appear healthy, but the early signs of disease may be lurking in their bodies - sometimes with no obvious symptoms. That’s why we run bloodwork to ensure they’re in tip-top shape.
If left untreated, parasites can be deadly for an animal of any size. Prevention provides the best protection, which is why we provide a 12-month supply of flea, tick and heartworm prevention medication with every Wellness Plan.
Our fecal exams and heartworm tests are designed to detect life-threatening parasitic conditions, which are often undetectable until your pet gets seriously ill.

Can I pay for a full year up front?
Yes, you can pay for the full year when you sign up for your pet's Wellness Plan.
An additional $35 one-time membership fee will be collected upon enrollment.

Do Wellness Plans renew automatically after a year?
Yes, unless you request that we cancel your pet's Wellness Plan, it will renew automatically each year.

How do I make the monthly payments?
Your payment information (credit card) will be entered into a secure portal when you sign up for your pet's plan. You can choose the withdrawal date between the 1st and 15th of each month that's best for you.

When you sign up multiple pets at the same time, you will only pay the one-time $35 enrollment fee once (not for each pet).

My pet is young and healthy. Does it make sense to buy a Wellness Plan?
Regular preventive veterinary care for young cats and dogs can help build a foundation for good life-long health. When you sign your pet up for a Wellness Plan as a puppy or kitten, puppy/kitten vaccinations are included in the monthly fee.

If your pet passes away during your 12-month commitment, we will cancel the plan immediately.

What is the difference between a Pet Wellness Plan and pet insurance?
Although Wellness Plans and pet insurance both help you manage the costs of your pet's veterinary care, the types of veterinary services they cover are very different.
Wellness Plans include preventive care costs (things like vaccinations and routine exams), while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency services, accidents, or specific illnesses.

We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, giant dogs, and indoor/outdoor cats.

Will the Wellness Plan cover all of my pet's healthcare needs?
Wellness plans cover the routine care that all cats and dogs need (core vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, and more). You will also receive a 10% discount on any other service your pet needs, excluding food and grooming.
